But far from feeling like a brand new album, this mix is more like an emergency kit in case you suffer from a dangerously low level of crunk in your system. If that original pressing of Crunk Juice has lost all signs of life, then giving Watts' rendition a try couldn't hurt. Watts' version of "Bitches Ain't S***" is in the same vein, slowing down the already methodic crooning of Nate Dogg and adding a touch of baritone to Snoop Dogg's usually unmistakable pipes. The only noticeable improvements come on the kicked back R&B-touched offerings, like the soul-injected mix of "Lovers & Friends," still boasting the accompaniment of Usher and Ludacris. Stream songs including 'Crunk Juice', 'Get Crunk (feat. Few tracks gain much appeal over the originals, though, and a good handful become worse for wear - namely the now painfully dull "What U Gon' Do" and equally snooze-inducing "Get Crunk". More succinctly, this is a perfect dance disc for anyone who slept less than 5 hours and couldn't scrape together enough scratch for a Red Bull. The typical tweaks and tricks always present in "screwed and chopped" projects are there, but more than anything Watts brings the album's fever pace to a crawl.
